It has historically been uncool to talk about one’s own popularity. That’s probably why doing so comes so naturally to me! As the above image indicates, I think I just had 15 minutes of fame and didn’t even notice it!
Apparently this was a banner week for SideshowBarb. According to my Google Analytics statistics, my site was accessed almost 600 times this week! For those of you keeping track (aka me) that’s a change of 530 percent.
But lest my devoted readers think this means I’m ready to sell ads on this little page of wonder and court shout-outs from Perez Hilton, let me assure you that in no time my numbers have dipped down to where they belong.
Apparently the majority of the hits came from Google Image searches. As to what image I have no idea. Since all but 1 percent of the visits went to the main page, I guess I will never know. My guess is that people were clicking through to pictures of Gerard Butler, though, because he is a hot piece of man.
